                                     Season of Lent
The season of Lent will be upon us all too soon. Ash Wednesday falls on March 1 this year. Worship
will take place here at Atonement at 6:30 pm. On the rest of the Wednesday (not including Ash
Wednesday), there will also be a simple supper offered at 5:30 pm. A group of ELCA pastors from the
Green Bay churches will be doing a round-robin preaching schedule this year. That means that each week
a different pastor will preach here, as we all takes turns preaching at each of the churches. Because of the
500th anniversary of the Lutheran Church, our theme for those Wednesday evenings will be “With Awe
and Love” based on Martin Luther’s Small Catechism. Please watch for further details as the season

                 Food, Fellowship & Learning at Atonement
        Last Tuesday of each month.  Lunch served at 11:30am followed by the program.

                    The Fellowship, Outreach & Evangelism committee invites everyone to a
                    showing of “Luther and the Reformation” by Rick Steves on Sunday,
                    March 19 at 10:00am.  We’ll enjoy German pastries in the Fellowship Hall
                    and view the DVD in the Sanctuary.  

Rick Steves’ “Luther and the Reformation” is a wonderful resource for all of us to better
understand our Lutheran roots and help us in our continued journey of understanding the
