LET THE ACTS ADVENTURE BEGIN!!
I invite you to join me on an adventure as we read together through the book of Acts in the Bible. Each
day we will read a few verses and I will note some things I see and invite you to do the same.
Remember - it is ok to bring all your questions - fears and doubts on this journey. By the way - Each day
as you open your bible invite the Spirit of God to open your heart and mind.

DAY 34 READ ACTS 15:22-41 A disagreement in the church?? Yes it does happen - even among
church leaders! We can see in the early church that there are times when not everyone agrees
about what to do and or how to do it. Yet even though we see these disagreements among leaders
the Holy Spirit continues to work in and through them to get the mission done. What is that
mission? The spreading of the good news of Jesus Christ! The church today is not a perfect place.
We have our disagreements. But I join Jesus Christ in his prayer that we will continue to work
out our differences in love and grace and be as one in Christ as a gift of the Holy Spirit! That is
the key! We look to the Holy Spirit to bring us together as a people who are one in Christ! Let us
join Christ in that prayer and let us by the power of the Holy Spirit discover what it means to be
one in Christ! Hope to see you tonight as we celebrate the Birth of Christ and pray God's
blessing on Sento's going home! The Christmas meal is served at 6:00p.m. followed by our
service at 7:00p.m. Merry Christmas!!
